Operation Exodus

“This day came ye out in the month Abib.” -Ex. 13:4

Operation Exodus is a movement that focuses on exiting public schools by promoting alternatives, such as homeschooling, Christian private schools, and the establishment of community schools. This movement draws inspiration from the Biblical account of the Exodus, wherein the Israelites sought freedom from an oppressive system and embarked on a journey to the promised land.

#Exit2Protect Movement

The #Exit2Protect movement is to empower parents to take control of their children's education, ensuring they receive a quality learning experience that aligns with their family's values and beliefs.

Join us in our modern-day exodus as we strive to create a new educational paradigm that honors Biblical values and parental authority and promotes excellence in education.

"We expose and inform parents about egregious education policies as a means of exiting, not reforming."

We believe that the current public school system has failed our children, exposing them to harmful ideologies and depriving them of a quality education. We believe that every child deserves a safe, nurturing, and values-driven educational environment that prioritizes academic excellence, moral development, and parental involvement.

In America, we are blessed with the freedom to create and build. Our faith in Jesus Christ lays the foundation from which the power of innovation resonates, enabling us to exercise this freedom to its fullest. We are committed to advocating and creating educational opportunities that empower parents and communities to build a better future for our children.

Why Public School

Is Growing Increasingly Spiritually Dangerous

Legislative Trends Eroding Faith & Parental Authority

Recent and proposed laws in Illinois reveal a clear trend toward expanding state control over education while undermining biblical values and parental rights. The Inclusive Curriculum Law (HB 246, 2019) mandates instruction on LGBTQ history and identity. The Keeping Youth Safe and Healthy Act (SB 818, 2021) imposes a statewide sex-education program that affirms LGBT identities from kindergarten through 12th grade. Whether passed, pending, or stalled, these bills expose the ideological direction of Illinois lawmakers — and their willingness to reshape K–12 education in ways that conflict with both faith and parental authority.

A Biblical Perspective

The Bible clearly establishes that parents—not the state—hold the God-given authority to raise and educate their children (Deuteronomy 6:7; Proverbs 22:6). When public schools promote sex education, LGBTQ ideologies, or gender fluidity, they challenge and replace biblical truth. These curricular mandates can steer children toward identities and values contrary to Scripture, undermining parents’ spiritual responsibility.

Undermining Parental Rights

Laws like the Homeschool Act place government between parents and children—mandating state registration, oversight, and even criminal penalties for non-compliance (e.g., truant labeling). This shift compromises parents’ ability to train children according to their convictions and God’s design.

Academic Decline & Spiritual Confusion

Schools emphasizing identity politics over academic excellence often neglect fundamentals like literacy, critical thinking, and moral clarity. By prioritizing cultural agendas, public education increasingly becomes a place of confusion rather than academic or spiritual formation.

The Bottom Line

Public schools are evolving into vectors of cultural, moral, and spiritual compromise. Between mandated curriculum changes and proposed oversight for homeschooling, the system moves further from God's design for family-led education and moral formation.

Protect Your Child

Children in School Bus

no guarantee

Your child is not guaranteed to be fully protected from exposure to sexual perversions and ungodly dogma from their peers and teachers who agree with such standards.

Hands Raised

no guarantee

There is no guarantee that schools will uphold the law regarding your right to opt your child out of the standards.

no guarantee

There is no guarantee of protection from a school that does not adopt the National Sex Education Standards (NSES); the sexualized societal norms such as gender ideology and sexual orientation will still influence all aspects of their education and the culture of public schools. As a result, many schools will inevitably feel pressured by the leftist purveyors to comply with or accommodate those children.
